Library |
 |
Jhasaketan Granthalaya, the college library has a rich collection of books and journals including rare books like ‘Purnachandra Bhasakosa’. The library has gone online from the session 2008-09. A reading room adjacent to the library has a seating capacity of 50 with facilities such as internet connectivity, reprography etc. As on 28th February 2011 the number of books in the library stands at 23006 . It operates a book bank for the benefit of the needy students. |

The library subscribes 32 (thirty two) journals including foreign journals like ‘Scientific American’. |

Computer Facilities |

Most of the departments are having computer facilities to cater to the needs of the students and the teachers. Apart from the computer facilities in the department, a Centralised Computer Lab functions with 20(twenty) PC’s. The different sections of the office are equipped with computers and peripherals for smooth functioning of activities. |

Uniform |
 |
For +3, boys are required to wear sky blue shirt,black trousers and black shoes while girls are required to wear sky- blue kameez,black salwar,black chunri and black shoes. For +2 boys are required to wear bluish check shirt, while girls are required to wear bluish check kameez, bkack salwar & black chunri. |

Health Services |

Regular medical check up of the students are taken up in the Health Centre of the college. The Health Centre functions on week ends with active assistance of Dr.(Maj.) R.Sahu, Retd. Physician of Ispat General Hospital. |

Sports & Game |
 |
The college has a spacious playground of its own for organizing different sports events. Sufficient sports equipments are available as per the requirements of the students. Indoor games facilities such as carrom & chess are available to students in the boys Common Room and Girls Common Room. It is proposed to construct a basket ball field during XIth Plan. |

Representing the University and the State in different events are regular features with the students. |

Hostel |
 |
It is proposed to provide separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. To encourage women students, the UGC has already sanctioned a sum of Rs.80 lacs for a women’s hostel. The construction work is expected to commence shortly. The proposal for a boys hostel shall be submitted to the UGC during the XIth plan.
